The Laguerre process and generalized Hartman--Watson law
In this paper, we study complex Wishart processes or the so-called Laguerre processes (Xt)t≥0. We are interested in the behaviour of the eigenvalue process; we derive some useful stochastic differential equations and compute both the infinitesimal generator and the semi-group. We also give absolute-continuity relations between different indices. Finally, we compute the density function of the s...

متن کاملSkew-t distribution is an appropriate alternative for the weighted exponential distribution
In this manuscript first a brief introduction to the Skew-t and Weighted exponential distributions is considered and some of their important properties will be studied. Then we will show that the Skew-t distribution is prefered to the Weighted exponential distribution in fitting by using the real data. Finally we will prove our claim by using the simulation method.
متن کاملThe AT&T WATSON Speech Recognizer
This paper describes the AT&T WATSON real-time speech recognizer, the product of several decades of research at AT&T. The recognizer handles a wide range of vocabulary sizes and is based on continuous-density hidden Markov models for acoustic modeling and finite state networks for language modeling. The recognition network is optimized for efficient search. We identify the algorithms used for h...
متن کاملThe Hartman-Grobman Theorem
The Hartman–Grobman Theorem (see [3, page 353]) was proved by Philip Hartman in 1960 [5]. It had been announced byGrobman in 1959 [1], likely unbeknownst to Hartman, and Grobmanpublished his proof in 1962 [2], likely without knowing of Hartman’s work. (Grobman attributes the question to Nemycki and an earlier partial result to R.M. Minc (citing Nauč. Dokl. Vysš. Školy. Fiz.-Mat. Nauki 1 (1958))...
